We made the “limoncino” at home and now we tell you the recipe so you can do a great “limoncino” by yourself at your home!

Limoncino recipe:

- 8/10 untreated lemons
- 1lt of Alcohol 90 degrees
- 600 gr of sugar
- 1,5 lt of water

Wash the lemons thoroughly
Dry them with a clean cloth
With a knife or a vegetable peeler, remove the thin skin of the lemons, being careful not to take the white part; then, put the peels in a box and add the alcohol.
Close the box with plastic wrap.
Leave the skins to macerate in alcohol for a week.
After 7 days, prepare the syrup of water and sugar; put water in a pot to boil and then add the sugar.
Heat over with low power, stirring until the sugar will be all dissolved then switch off the power and let it cool
Combine the syrup with the skins macerated in alcohol and mix them very well.
Last, proceed to filter your “limoncino” just made and put it in a bottle!
