Footpath from Portofino Vetta to San Lorenzo della Costa

Turned into the Park access route, in front of the parking-car, go on in the backside of the hotel and take access to the footpaths.

Here is reported a first path that leads to San Lorenzo della Costa (Costa Ramezzana, Agriturismo il Monte, Violara, Km 501) but we do not recommend these walks because it is currently uncomfortable and, in some places, impassable.

From Portofino Vetta to San Rocco di Camogli

Access the park through the small staircase behind the hotel and keep the main road that leads to Pietre Strette until the locality of “Gaixella”, equipped with benches, wooden tables and drinking water. Here, turn right and follow the path marked by an empty circle that goes into the woods of chestnut and begins to descent.

Footpath Pietre Strette-Base 0-San Fruttuoso

Came in the stairway to enter into the Park, you have to reach the locality “Pietre Strette” and then go straight on for few meters, until the crossroads, turning to the right and following the direction “Base 0″.
The trail, which follows the ridge of the Mount and has much panoramic-view points, goes on until the locality of Felciara, a clearing in the middle of the ferns equipped as a picnic area.

Footpath from Pietre Strette to Semaforo Nuovo

Departure from Pietre Strette, taking the path that goes down in San Fruttuoso and turning immediately to the right towards the locality of “Toca”.

This path is not particularly challenging, it has some ups and downs but the difference in altitude between start and finish points is almost nothing.

From Portofino Vetta to Portofino Mare

The path Portofino Vetta (peak) - Portofino Mare (sea), considered one of the top of the Portofino Mt., crosses the entire promontory from North-West to South-East. The trail begins with access to the park behind the Hotel (alternatively there is also the entrance in front of the parking-car) and continues in an easy way, got over the localities of Gaixella and, after 15′, Pietre Strette.

Hiking from Portofino to San Fruttuoso

The medium-high difficulty assigned to this course is intended primarily to the first section of the climb, very steep and difficult, that begins in Via Fondaco (after parking) at the police station. Got over the hotel, the road becomes a staircase with wide steps of stone and cement, very well kept and it climbs through the vegetation.
